BNY Mellon moves to add 400 Massachusetts jobs

BNY Mellon (NYSE: BK) said a combination of relocations and new hires will add about 400 new jobs to Massachusetts as its asset servicing business continues to grow. The bank currently employs more than 4,000 people in Greater Boston, including Everett, Lynnfield, Newton and Westborough. In July 2010, the company welcomed more than 1,100 new employees from its $2.3 billion acquisition of the global investment servicing, or GIS, business of PNC Financial Services.
